BioCycle-D™
Dynamic control of biological cycles

Efficient Aerobic exhalation
The BioCycle-D™ Optimized Aerobic Digestion Process provides ideal conditions for aerobic sludge digestion and the reduction of organic matter through endogenous respiration, maximizing volatile solids (VS) destruction, pathogen reduction, and sludge conditioning at a fraction of the expense of conventional aerobic digestion process. The process is also capable of producing Class B biosolids.

Zone Targeted Mixing for individual optimization
Separate operating modes
By decoupling aeration from mixing, BioCycle-D operates on the principle of alternating aerobic and anoxic conditions to optimize digestion and save energy.
Automated cycle control
Thanks to feedback from probes, the control unit automatically switches from aerobic cycles for volatile destruction to anoxic/anaerobic cycles for denitrification and alkalinity recovery.
Energy efficiency
The alternation of conditions not only promotes efficient biological processes, but also significantly saves energy, thereby increasing the operational efficiency of the entire system.

Universal aerobic digestion for the dry cleaners of all you measureunto
Ideally suited for aerobic digesters, the BioCycle-D™ Optimized Aerobic Digestion Process is an excellent fit for a variety of markets — including biosolids, municipal wastewater, and industrial food & beverage.
The process is a good solution for small facilities with a single tank as well as large, multi-tank plants. BioCycle-D™ also incorporates variable mixing intensity based on operating depth (i.e. there are no minimum depth requirements).

Reduce costs, save energy and minimize service
Biosolids management costs for a small to medium-sized wastewater treatment facility can account for 50% of the facilities operations and maintenance expense. Upgrading the aerobic digestion process can save both time and money, while ensuring process performance to meet disposal requirements.
Reduce energy costs
- Stop blower operation when aeration is not required.
- Keep tank contents mixed with a low energy mixing solution.
- Decouple aeration from mixing.
Minimize sludge disposal costs
- Maximize VS destruction.
- Meet Class B biosolids requirements for land disposal.
- Reduce sludge volumes by improving sludge characteristics for dewatering.
Decrease operator demands and hours
- Provide visibility into real-time process changes.
- Automatically adapt operation based on process changes.
- Eliminate the ned for chemical addition for alkalinity recovery.
