EnviroMix at the Hlinsko Plumbing Plant

Hlinsko WWTP will become the first European wastewater treatment plant to install the BioMix™ compressed air tank mixing system.

Specifically, this system will be used for mixing anaerobic tanks and pumping tanks from which water is pumped for tertiary treatment.

In the case of anaerobic tanks, the BioMix-DC variant will be used, which, through controlled mixing, creates conditions for the fermentation of unstable fatty acids, thereby contributing to the growth of phosphorus-accumulating bacteria (PAO).
